For the nursery. There are so many things out there to buy and being a first time mom I don't know it they're NEEDED or just for looks. Like diaper stackers, toy bags, etc. Opinions?? As for furniture - I think we've decided on what we're getting. The crib that converts to a d...

i know somewhere back in time i said that i would post pictures of the stripes i did in my son's playroom. this isn't the best shot, but we were cleaning/rearranging in there today and i took some photos. the larger stripes were taped off and then i freehanded the smaller stripes on top to make the edges im...

The baby bedding is finally done, I picked it up yesterday. Love it! We went the non-traditional route with the monogram, we wanted his first initial to be the big one. And here is the nightlight I made from some extra fabric I ordered:

I saw this on the Target site. Very cute for something inexpensive that is listed under "neutral" but I think is on the boyish side. Kind of reminds me of Dwell bedding like ayo's! I also looked through the stuff at bombaykids.com, and the crib sets are oh-so cute! I'm especiall...

Are these actually useful or are they more for decoration? Is a crib toy better? The mobile that I'm looking at is really neutral cause it would look good with the bedding, etc, but I'm wondering if it'll be too boring for the baby. Is the music at least helpful? Oh, and my brother got me t...

I had an appointment with a local baby boutique this week to look at custom bedding and I found something that I love (and it wasn't too much more than we originally planned on). It's blue w/brown polka dots and I'm going to go with a traditional 3 letter monogram instead of just an intial....

I'm going to a local baby boutique this week to look at more bedding options, but I was wanting opinions on these that I've found so far. I'm doing the nursery in baby blue and chocolate brown, the plan is to have the walls painted brown/blue harliquin pattern or stripes (depending on the pattern...

Okay, we aren't going to use the yellow rug in the nursery after all, which means that I can use any colors I want that will look good with the black rib. I'm thinking I still want to do the aqua and apple green, the colors in the Dwell bedding choice of my earlier post. I would just buy th...
