I had an appointment with a local baby boutique this week to look at custom bedding and I found something that I love (and it wasn't too much more than we originally planned on).  It's blue w/brown polka dots and I'm going to go with a traditional 3 letter monogram instead of just an intial.  The crib skirt is the polka dot fabric and the bumper is polka dot w/brown chenille ruffle (like the pillow) and a brown chenille square centered with monogram.  And the blanket is going to be the brown chenille w/polka dot ruffle and monogram in the corner.  I'll take a picture of the one she has in the store this weekend when I go in (expect it is green/brown and the blanket is a little different).  Anyway, you get the idea   We are doing wide blue/brown stripes on the wall.  And we are going with white furniture to keep the room from getting too dark, plus it really makes the bedding pop.
