bed wetting

Chris sometimes wets the bed at night. Should I be worried or is this something he will outgrow. He is 7.

Poor guy (and poor you, too).  I'd try looking up bed wetting on webmd.com or some of the parenting websites.  Here's an article I found through google.

Definitly check out the internet.  Tons of articles came up.

Good luck!

Thank you so much, I will check it out. I just dont want him to have an accident when he has friends  over or when he is staying at friends

my brother wet the bed until he was 11, but everything was ok! (he is 30 now)

i really wouldn't worry about it, but i can only imagine how he might feel if it happens when a friend is over/he is at a friends house. maybe you can always make sure he brings a thick sleeping bag so he doesn't have to share a bed at a friends, and vice versa?

Thinking back I remember wetting the bed until I was maybe 8-9 than I stopped. I will just make sure Chris does not drink alot before bed and to use the bathroom.

Erin that is a good idea thanks

My son will 5 on the 16th of Apr, and he is STILL in pull ups at night because he wets the bed. I always feel that I am making it worse by putting him in a pull up, but after months of changing sheets and loads of laundry I was done. Did he just start wetting the bed, or has he always done it??

Generally, bed wetting at the age of 7 isn't cause any concern.
At this age, nighttime bladder control simply may not be established. If bed-wetting continues, treat the problem with patience and understanding. Bladder training, moisture alarms or medication may help reduce bed-wetting.
