Maternity Coat

I think I'm going to end up having to get one of these.  It's starting to get cold and I have several months left (Feb.).  I've tried sizing up in a regular coat and it just looks like I'm trying to hide that I'm pregnant.  Anyone have any recommendations?

Unfortunately biting the bullet and buying a maternity coat may be the only way to go.  My neighbor was able to buy a bigger coat and tie a sash under the boob area and it looked cute.  I looked insanely ridiculous.  If your going to have more babies try and think of your wardrobe as an investment; it helped me to think that way.  If no more babies, maybe hit up ebay?

I think I'm going to get the Gap warmest down coat cause I tried on some regular coats at Gap/ON and sized up two sizes to a medium and didn't have very much room to grow.  I've decided on the Gap warmest coat cause I think it can be dressed up and down (obviously not super dressy but I very rarely need a super dressy coat).

Is this the one you're speaking of?
I've been eyeing this one!

Yes, but ugh!  They are sold out of my size.  My size seems to sell out fast in maternity clothes.  Wonder if they have it in stores, my local one doesn't carry maternity but I'm going to Nashville this weekend.

Ok, ended up ordering it in black from the website.  I will review it when I get it, it should arrive later this week.

A review would be great!  I also saw where Old Navy has this one for $68.  Their quality is pretty hit or miss.

Brown and Black

Looks kinda cute with the scarfs!

Yeah, the Old Navy one looks cute but personally I didn't want one that zipped off to the side, might look kind of funny when it isn't zipped.  And I also liked that the Gap one will look good with both brown and black since this is the only coat I'm going to be wearing this winter.

Thanks for pointing out about the zipper - I didn't even notice that!
