Good to hear your feeling well Ayo! I was wondering about you. Your little one will be here before to long!!
I'm also doing great! I'm about 23 weeks, almost to the 6 month mark!!
Ultrasound looked awesome. We didn't find out the sex and the baby didn't give any clues. I think he/she was thinking - You don't want to know what I am and I'm not giving you any ideas!! Kept his/her little legs closed the entire time but did wave at us a lot! It was an emotional experience, truly amazing! Feeling the baby is so wild, I've been being kicked everyday since week 18. It's so unreal but makes me feel so much better about things! Just knowing the baby is in there and doing well.
I've started to experience heartburn, which up until a couple weeks ago I'd never had in my life! It's not pleasant but nothing to complain about!!
We're finishing the nursery and with every little thing we do (painting, hardwood floor, furniture, bedding, etc.) I fall more and more in love with the room. I wasn't completely satisfied until the floor went in this weekend and then when the furniture went in, I was amazed! Still a few more things to get done, but I'm already having a hard time staying out of the room. I just look in the crib and think "oh my gosh, they'll soon be a baby in there". It's amazing!!
We've done the registering and my shower is set for 12/10 so I'm looking forward to that. November and December are such crazy months and they always fly by!! I can't believe my pregnancy has gone by as fast as it has and I'm sure the next couple months will do the same. God has truly blessed me with a great pregnancy!! I've enjoyed every single minute of it and hope/pray to do the same with the remainder!
Now, that I've written a book...... everyone else check-in!!
You guys have me all teary-eyed. Enjoy these times the next year goes by SO fast. Madeline is 8 months now and it feels like it went by in half the time.
BTW...My husband and I went into the nursery every night the last month of the pregnancy. We would just sit in there and talk and laugh, it made for great memories in the room, even before she was here!
