Well, I had my first ultrasound on Monday and we found out that I'm not as far along as we thought I was, I'm actually around 5 weeks. But everything looked great on the ultrasound and my levels are good. I am starting to feel a little more nausea and am going to the bathroom all the time! The dr wants to see the heartbeat, so I'm going again this coming Monday for another ultrasound, I'll update then.
I'm feeling really well. I've been getting hungry a lot more often but after about 5-6 bites I feel so full that I have trouble eatting an actual meal. I've been trying to eat little meals throughout the day. I have my first appointment with my OBGYN on Friday. I'm really excited and hoping to get an U/S done at that time. I can't wait to see a little heart beating!

getting full after a few bites was pretty typical for me too...I think it's best to eat the little meals several times a day. Mainly because as you go further along you find that digestion takes a little longer and can become quite uncomfortable.

Yeah right around the 6th-7th week the nausea starts to really set in.
If the nausea gets worse, crackers and anything ginger was a life saver for me. May want to give it a try.

The nausea is getting better for me. Crackers did not help. I heard several people say to eat some before you ever get out of bed but didn't try it. Someone suggested lemonade and surprisingly it helped me. Also eating just a little bit of something throughout the day helped. I've been eating grapes and those cheap popsicles- flavor ice- I think is what they are called? Anyway both are healthy and help hydrate you. FP- I hope yours doesn't get very bad and goes away fast. RAR- keep us updated on how everything goes.
Had my second ultrasound today and everything looks perfect and is growing just like it should. I am 5 1/2 weeks. We seen the little white dot where the heartbeat will be and we go for another ultrasound next Monday so they can see that heartbeat. And the nausea is getting to be stronger, but I can deal with that cause I know it means the baby is progressing like it should. Oh, and I heard about lemonade helping and have some in my fridge
I met with my Dr. last Friday. They did an exam, lots of bloodwork, etc. and the Dr. said everything looked great and was postioned the way it should be. I called and got my blood work results today and everything is great. I have one low level when it comes to my iron. But the Dr. thinks it's nothing to worry about and told me to add a 250mg Vitamin C and a glass of OJ to my daily prenatal vitamins. She thinks that will take care of it. If not I'll go on an iron supplement. I get to hear the heartbeat 3 weeks from Thursday. I cannot wait!!! The nausea is here! I stay hungry but after a few bites I can't hardly eat anymore. So I'm still eatting several little small meals. Other then the nausea and the fact my belly is growing I'm feeling really well! I'm due 2/23 - which makes me about 7 1/2 weeks
sorry about the nausea guys...I had that and it sucks...but for me right around the 13th week things got so much better! So take heart :)...at least the nausea lets you know the baby is progressing well
