My little one turns one next month, and we want to throw her a BBQ party!  I'm trying to come up with some ideas... so far, I know I want the color scheme to be pink... pink and green, or pink & orange.

So adorable!!!!  Do you know those people, or is it a site?  I'd love to learn how to do that stuff on my computer for personalized stuff.


I always kept Birthday #1 low-key with just a couple of relatives.  Babies get so overwhelmed and they usually aren't very well-behaved.  I think for my daughter's first birthday, I just hung her stuffed animals by come colorful ribbon from the chandelier and baked cupcake with different colored frosting for each. 


I like the pink/green combo.  Plus you might be able to find more stuff to go w/ it.

OMG, Karina, that is so cute!


I guess I was kinda cheesy cuz I did the whole #1 theme, I bought this party package from www.birthdayexpress.com. 



I was also in the process of finishing up DD's room in a fairy theme, so I dressed her up as a fairy.

If you're having a BBQ I recommend putting up a screen tent or keeping the made food indoors.  I bought one of those screen tents to keep insects off the food since our place was too small to have everyone inside.

I love the look of pink and green.  For some reason the pink and orange just look like one color in the invitation picture below.

We are going to go with the pink & green thing. The problem is -- we are going to do her baptism and birthday celebration at the same party. I need ideas for favors and other stuff.
