Kids patterns are pretty simple, and I found a fab site with fabrics. Just wondering if anyone else does this or is considering it? ETA, first project complete. Capri lenght 1 piece romper with ties on side of leg:

yes, I used to sew for two little girls a lot. The patterns are simple and it's easy to make little matching accessories like headbands and little purses (little girls love little purses!) also, since the fabric is minimal, you can usually get a price break by buying a remnant. I typically did simple, button back shifts and shorts/sleeveless top outfits. You can also pump it up a notch with embellishments and cute buttons.

Hey detroit I made that cross back apron top for my oldest. I made it revesible, she still get tons of compliments on it!
Okay I got these prints in some really nice cotton, and am thinking of making a shift dress and some wide leg pull on pants for the baby. I'll post pics when I'm done if anyone is interested...
