argh! more sleep problems

so little miss is back to napping, great! i have tried making more of a schedule and she has been napping well almost every day since.

she had been sleeping decently at night, but since she has mastered rolling over from back to front, she started rolling in her crib -- right to the edge. i don't think bumpers are the answer, since my parents have those in the crib for her at their house, and she still cries when she rolls to the end of the crib. i bought a sleep positioner, but two nights ago i used it and didn't make it small enough and she rolled halfway, but tonight i made it tighter and she moved WITH the positioner -- to the end of the crib again.

i mean, yay! strong baby! but this is getting annoying AND i don't want her sleeping on her stomach (which is how i find her). the positioner i bought is cheap:

but maybe this might work better?

help!

Hmmmm....that's the same positioner I used on my son and it worked fine for him.

How old is she now?

Did you have a bassinet for her or a moses basket or anything smaller?  You could try putting her back in that then while she works her way through this stage.

she'about 3.5 months. no, she was never in a bassinet. maybe i will have to try that. when she sleeps with us, she never rolls a bit, either..

when i mentioned a moses basket to my hub, he was worried she might be able to get out of there somehow, too...

erin does she have good head control yet?

I've read that if the baby rolls to their stomach it's akay as long as they have good head control. is she mad more about being at the end of the crib or being on her stomach? Is she a swaddle baby? I had to go back to swaddling until Madeline mastered rolling both ways to prevent this.

Mr. went through this also, at about the same time.  We just muddled through it.  I know this is *extremely touchy* but I let him sleep on his belly.  Eventually he got used to moving around and now he stays asleep.
